HD DVD and BR

Just a newby question
Can I burn HD DVD or BR on 4.7 GB normal DVD with MF5+
If yes what are the requiered steps after capturing program file (mpeg2-hd) from my sony hc1 camcorder ?

BD cannot be played on HD DVD player. To play BD you need a BD player.

But yes someone in AVForum did use DVDMF 5 to burn his HD DVD content to a folder then burn the folder to DVD-R and he can play the HD DVD (on DVD-R) with his HD DVD player well.
