Aspect Ratios - help please

Post by Will Marwick »

To the experts,
I have pal DVD mpegs in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
Most TV sets nowadays are able to auto adjust to different aspect ratios.
In VS10 plus, can I add mpegs of different ratios to my final DVD project ?
If so, how ?

Regards,
Will :roll:

Yes, by making sure that the "Non-square pixel rendering" box is checked in the VideoStudio project settings. When exported with the non-square rendering enabled;

In 4:3 projects 16:9 will be letterboxed (black bars top/bottom).

In 16:9 projects 4:3 will be pillared (black boxes on either side)
