Hi all,
I have been using DVD Factory 3 for quite a while and am very happy with it. I thought i would try the demo of DVD Factory 5 and see if there was much difference but have come across a problem. When i capture video from my canon camera, no matter what settings i use (full tape or timed capture) it only captures 3 seconds approx. It gives no error or reason and keeps going, acting like it is still capturing. I went back and tried factory 3 again and all is well so i dont think it is a hardware issue. Is it something silly i'm missing like is this a trial limitation? Any advice appreciated and yes i did try searching first but found nothing.
Cheers Gary
3 Second Capture?
Hi Gary,
Searching for capture does give results, like this one:
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... eo+capture
Judging by the posts with capture problems in MF5 but not with a previous version, I would assume there is some trouble with the new InterVideo capture modules it is using. Possibly a conflict with another InterVideo product (like I had with MPEG2 playback in MediaPlayer after MF5).
I guess the advice in your case is to just use other capture software for now, like Windows bundled. Or maybe try a donationware tool like AVCutty or whatever.
