VS 9/10: Changing slideshow slides to beat of music

Post by sjj1805 »

Few users realise that VideoStudio 9/10 include a built in method for adjusting the slideshow timings
so that the pictures change with the beat of the music.

To use this method you have to start VideoStudio using the Movie Wizard

Then select 'Insert Image(s)'

Add your chosen images

Select the [Next] button to go to the next screen

Select your background Music as normal.
Clicking the cog wheel shown at "1" will bring up the dialog box "2"

After selecting [Next] you will see a screen that will enable you to
Create video file
Create Disc
Edit in Ulead VideoStudio Editor

Now select Edit in VideoStudio Editor and a message box pops up - obviously we will continue.

We are now on the standard VideoStudio editing screen.
You can now see that all of your slides have different timings based upon your soundtrack.

using Auto Music

I followed your advise and it is working out fine. Now the only thing left is to get into Auto Music on the Audio tab. I have tried without success. I looked in the Help section but it only addresses what it does, and not how to access it.

This was very helpful...answered my question, but I too cannot seem to get into the Auto Music. Everything is greyed out.
