DVD operates contrary to project settings

Post by uesjd »

I authored a DVD with DVDMF5+.

I used one of the Text Menu templates.

There are 13 video clips in this project.

The Project Settings were set so that at the end of each clip, the disk should proceed to the next clip, rather than return to the Menu.

After burning it to DVD, I found that the end-of-clip action doesn't work uniformly. For clips 1-10, each clip leads into the next clip, as per the Project Settings. But for clips 11 and 12, when the clip ends, the disk returns to the Main Menu, rather than playing the next clip.

What can be done about this? As I understand it, the end-of-clip action is set on a project-wide basis, not a clip-by-clip basis, so it is not possible to set the project settings to result in this kind of behavior, even if one wanted to do so.

I'm glad this board is back up.

Does anyone have any suggestions about this problem? I contacted Ulead support -- they wrote back to ask a few details (like how many video titles I used), I responded with the information they requested, and then I never heard back from them. That was weeks ago.
