Problems with burning DVD in Video Studio 9

I'm trying to burn a 4gb movie onto a DVD-5 disc, but the disc gets stuck on the last chapter with the sound and picture coming to a halt. I'm using Video Studio 9. What is the problem and how can I overcome it please any ideas before I make more coasters?
