Unable to Make the FOLDER
I was following the procedures on the forum, the tips for new users and one of the items it said on burning a DVD is to "selecte New Project". When I do, I get an error message UNABLE TO MAKE THE FOLDER. Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem. I wonder if having movie factory loaded as well as VS 10+ is a problem?

Hi David,
In the preferences for the editor did you set up a working folder? Also you have to designate a working folder for the burn module. Click on the gear icon. If you don't designate a a working folder, then VS will use the default Temp folders.
The working folders should be on a seperate drive or partition, and you should have the permission to write to that space. If there is not enough free space then VS will not be able to create the neccesary files and folders.
No, there should not be any conflicts with having DMF and VS installed. I currently have 2 versions of DMF, 3 versions of VS, and 2 versions of MSP, all installed and working happily together.
I just re-read your post, do you mean loaded as in both launched and running at the same time? It might be possible to do this, however I think it would take a major muscle machine for both to run, without causing some degree of problems.

I very often have several Ulead programs open and running at the same time mostly for cross reference purposes whilst dealing with queries on this forum or when editing screen shots, still images and the like.
I especially have photoimpact running together with MediaStudio, video Studio and/or MovieFactory.
When rendering a video it is best however to have the minimum number of things running on your computer so that the processor can concentrate on the job in hand
