There isn't that much difference between creating a video of a slideshow or a motion video. having placed your material on the videoStudio timeline, be it still images or video, complete with sound, titles and so on
go to the share tab and select create video file.

To create a DVD you would select one of the predefined formats such as
PAL DVD or NTSC DVD dependant upon the region of the world you are in.
This sorts out the frame rate (25 fps PAL or 29.97 fps) plus the appropriate screen dimensions 720x576 PAL or 720x480 NTSC.

The only change to those settings you may need to make is the Field Order. this is dictated by the source of your material.
Analogue Video is normally Upper Field First
Digital video is normally Lower field first
Material from scanners and digital cameras is normally Frame Based.

Now having created your MPEG2 file start a new project - this will clear all of the edits and clips from your timeline. go to the Share Tab and this time select Create disc. This starts the DVD authoring procedure. You now import the video created above, create your DVD Menu and burn.

From Camcorder to DVD with VideoStudio - much of the information in this link will also apply to your slideshow despite the source.
