Can i do this with PI 10?

Post by delphi »

HI
This is my first time here.
I just register because i need to do this:

Every week i get about 50-200 picture on 2048x1536 (horizontal) -1536x2048(vert). I have to:
Resize horizontal img to 500x375, verst 375-500.
Paste a signature (logo) at the botttom of them
Optimize and save them on a folder.

With Batch Manager i have achieved resizing and optimizing.
My Question!
Can i set Batch manager to get the logo (images logo on transparent background), paste it on on the base image and then optimize it?

Here is a sample of the image with the logo:

Can it be done? or do i need another tool?
Can Batch manager recognize horizontal or vertical pic so to run the right task? (just a little of programming)

where can i find a manual for batch manager?

i`d apreciate your comments

A Batch command is simply running a Macro many times over on selected images.
You record whatever sequence of events you are doing - this is termed a macro.
This ranges from inserting text as per your enquiry or resizing, adjusting lighting etc.

You then play this select another picture and play this macro so that it gets altered with added text, resized etc. If you have several images that you wish to process in the exact same manner then you use the batch command.

In respect of the portrait -v- landscape orientation, this would require you to record two of these macros - one for each orientation.

Details of the Batch command are found in the built in Help file selected from the menubar across the top of the PhotoImpact Screen.

Briefly you select several images and say to the computer I want you to run this macro on all of those images, one after the other. In other words its a batch job.
