PI 12 forgets my preferences

Quick note for developers: after installing the new update PI STILL forgets my preferences...have to keep iedit12.cfg read-only. (Uninstall/clear install/upgrade patch)

I have the same problem here with PI 12 in Vista...I will try the readonly idea.
