VideoStudio 10+ - Corrupt project file - every time

I am having massive problems with VS10+. When I save a project, or clip, and then reload it, it is corrupt. The titles (colour block with text + jpeg) are OK but the video sticks on the 1st frame of the original, unedited clip (ie that frame shouldn't be there) and has no audio. Also, the program keeps closing without any warning. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM
AND I DONT KNOW ANY SOLUTION,SO IF
SOMEHOW YOU FIND A WAY TO LET IT WORK,
PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
