Title chapters over motion menu

Post by Martin Coward »

Does anyone know if it is possible to either fade in titles with chapter points over the motion menue or bring in the title chapter points 5 seconds into the motion menu?

Its just that the motion menu contains text and I want tolet the text show before the titles with chapter points appear.

Hope someone can help!

Many thanks
Martin

Thanks for the reply, George

The motion menu plays in a continuous loop for about 3 minutes.
I need to insert my list of chapter points about 5 seconds after the start of the loop - either fading them up bring them straight in.
Any ideas?

This might work...

Can you put the short into as your "First Play", and have it lead into the real first menu? (there might be a little "pause" at the end of the First Play and your first menu).

Or, create a video in your editor to be the length of the motion menu, but "x" seconds into the clip, you put your buttons on it. Use this as the motion menu, and add "invisible" buttons over your "fixed" buttons in your motion menu.

I have done the first option you suggest and there is a pause between the intro and the menu with titles but this does not matter too much.

The problem now is that I need to add sound (music) over both the intro and the menu without a break and I don't think that is possible. if so perhaps you could let me know how!

Very many thanks

Option 2

Unfortunately, you cannot have a single audio track carry "seamlessly" from the First-Play to the First Menu :(

To have a single background audio, Option 2 would work (but it's more work).
