video filter trouble

I have always had this problem. I had it with VS9 and I have also had it with VS 10.
The only way that I have been able to recover the filter option is this way:
(and I have tried all the ways you have just tried)


Create a new user profile in windows. Check to see that the video filters are now available. If they are then:-

From an XP user profile that works correctly, look for the file Vfilter.rsf located in C:\Documents and Settings\USERXX\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0 or the location specific to your system, and copy it to the correspondent location of your XP profile, C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USER-NAME\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0

The user profile created can now be deleted.

This method had always worked for me. Perhaps it will work for you.

Remember to show all hidden files.
