Question about bonus pack

Post by brianosmi »

Hello all,
I have just recently upgraded to VS 10+ and have a couple of questions about the bonus pack.

When I ran the bonus pack it seemed to unzip all of the contents into a temp directory... and that was it. I never saw anything install, and due to the fact that it unzipped to a temp directory rather than my Ulead directory it doesn't seem like the files were placed correctly if there is no install.

So my questions are: did I correctly install the bonus pack and secondly, what is included in the bonus pack?

My apologies if this forum is not the appropriate place to post this question, and thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to provide some insight.

Yes you done it right. The bonus pack contains :

Audio, Video, and Image samples, Cool3D SE, Ulead Pocket DV Show for MCE, and WinDVD 7.

The audio, video, samples can be linked to your Libraries, Cool3D SE (which is a freebie version of Cool 3D,) Ulead Pocket DVShow MCE, and WinDVD7 all have to be installed. There are files in folders where those programs are found (setup.exe) to install them.

If they have been unzipped to your Documents and Setting\Your Name\ Local Settings\Temp folder, then you might want to move the video, image and audio files to a more permanent folder within C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems folder just in case you accidentally erase them when you (as you should) regularly clean out that Temp folder...
