Post by Pinky »

I have downloaded the free software from the Ulead website but when i go to use it(i have installed it it) it comes up with the error box - LOAD MPEG VIO DRIVER ERROR then the message shows where DVDMF.ini is in my folders!

Really need to burn a dvd today and can't believe after finally inding this software to download, I can't get it to work.

Many thanks to anyone that can help.

Do you have Adobe Premiere loaded on your machine as well. THere is a conflict between the Main Concept MPEG encoder and the Ulead which is a variation of the Main Concept. There is a patch but I don't believe it works with the trial versions.

The patch works on the ESD and Retail versions.

Do you have Adobe video/DVD products in your system?? If so, you will need to reinstall your DVDMF.

If no Adobe products, try to add the following lines in System drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\3.0\DVDMF.ini:

[MPEGVIO]
mpegdll0=uvMPEG2.dll
AudioReadBuffer=1
InitFlag=1
MPEGActiveDriverNum=1
MPEGActiveDriverName=Ulead MPEG vio Driver,

Hope this helps.
