Adding Animation?
Okay I'm making this picture and I tried to get the Snow Animation on it...but whenever I click OKAY it doesn't put the animation, it just leaves it as an original layer. So should I save it as a .gif then put the animation or..what? I'm not too experienced with the program, I've had it for about a year now and I still get very confused...

First of all, your above image is a jpeg. Jpeg's aren't animated, ever.
Secondly, you cannot make an animated image in PI by adding some filter or plugin. It's a lot more complex than that. You can use PI to make the different images that will make up your animation, to actually animate it you need a program like gif animator.

First are you using the EasyPallete, Galleries, Animation, to apply the snow effect?
If so then you should get a pop up menu when you click on the Ok. There should be an animation preview of the snow effect on your image. As shown in the screenshot below, the bottom option needs to be selected, then PI will create an animaton (GIF) with the snow effect. Choosing the first, it will only apply the snow to your still image.

Did you have the choice shown in the above screen capture, Save Animation file and create new object?
Also do you have GIF Animator 5 installed? I'm not sure, but if you didn't get presented with the above choice, then it may be that PI ties into GIF Animator 5 and uses it to create the animated gif.
