Post by digitalstud »

I created the project in Adobe Premier 6.5
After I imported the project into Workshop 2.0 and burned it to a DVD, I played it in my DVD player and after a while the DVD freezes.

Can anyone help PLEASE!!!

It could simply be a bad DVD or a bad burn. Try burning another DVD. Try buirning at a slower speed, or "burn" a DVD to your hard drive by checking the box that says Create DVD Folders.

It could also be that your bitrate is a little too high.

Please give the mpg settings. It is quite likely you have the combined audio and video bitrates set higher than your player can handle, as DVDDoug says. This is a common mistake.

Does this relate to the original video (prior to editing) or the video that has been edited and passed to DVD workshop?

Capture in DV (avi) and do all of your editing -cuts, transitions, titles so on and so forth. Then render it to a DVD compliant MPEG2 file.

Suggested MPEG 2 settings are listed here:
What bit rate settings should I use?
