Problem in Project Editing

I am trying to edit a DVIX video, and it plays fine in the clip but when I drag it into the project, it turns into a slide show. Audio is fine.

Any ideas.

DivX causes lots of trouble. It was designed as a playback format. It's not really designed to be edited. You may want to find a special-purpose DivX editing program, or convert the file to some other format (AVI/DV or MPEG-2) before importing it into Video Studio. SUPER (FREE!!!) can probably convert it to MPEG-2, but not to DV. (And, I've sometimes also had trouble editing MPEGs which were not designed to be edited either.)
