adding video to slideshow

Post by newbie73 »

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me - I have created a couple of picture slides and I need to add some video clips to the end of it - I know you can add them to the menu right at the start but I need them to be at the end.

Can this be done or do I need a different program?

Hope someone can help...

Thanks

Hi,

Pictureshow 4 doesn't allow you to mix photos and video clips in the same show (except as a "play first" video as you mentioned). The easiest workaround would be to first create your PHOTO slideshow and then (in the same session) create a 2nd show with only your VIDEO clips. Make sure these shows are sequenced in the proper order and then burn them to DVD. Before burning make sure you have set your preference to "continue to play next clip". Unfortunately there will be a brief break between shows during playback but they will play in the desired order, photo show followed by video show.

If this is something you'll want to do on a regular basis you might consider experimenting with the trial version of VideoStudio 10+ which allows you to intermix photos and clips on the timeline in any order you wish.

Hope that helps!
