Hi all,
I am trying out VS 10+ right now to decide if it's worth a purchase. I'm experiencing strange lag issues while navigating the application; just moving my mouse around, the response seems very laggy. I'm not doing any capturing or editing at all, no camcorder hooked up yet. The CPU and RAM meters don't show a spike.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this as well. I am considering installing the latest patch, but was hoping for some feedback first.
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you are using the trial version then you won't be able to apply the patch.
Do you have anything running in the background; virus protection, etc.? Is your machine connected to the Internet so that something may be auto-updating?

Thanks for the reply. I am running Norton antivirus, but I do not see anything else running in the background. There are no updates in progress as far as I could tell, but I will check again.
