Is this thread about sympathy or the facts of working on graphics at 800 x 600?
Choice is yours, complain all you like, but why should the minority compromise design decisions? -- who is really being arrogant here? Think about it. The world is a big place, bigger than just YOUR needs. You have options, get a 30" cheap HDTV that does 1280 x 768 if you want it VERY big. If the world has to move forward at the lowest common denominator it will never move forward.
But demanding developers to change a product because they don't want "their world" to ever change is counter productive. You have alternatives, you have choices, up to you to make the best of it.
PhotoImpact 12 doesn't work with 800x600 screen resolution

OK guys, everyone said their piece. This kind of personal attack doesn't get us nowhere.
Please, shake hands, virtually, and let there be peace. I will not tolerate any further personal attacks and any posts of that nature will be edited.
Let's all go back to the core of this.
Unfortunately for some, technology has advanced to the degree where a 800x600 screen resolution just does not show enough of the required tools and the work space anymore.
That, unfortunately, makes it problematic for people with a vision impairment, agreed. I'm not vision impaired and run my display at 1280 x 800. Even though I do have to wear my reading glasses for this already, I still wish there was more of the workspace to see.
I cannot see any software developper "repairing" something that's not broken for the sake of a small minority.
There is always the option to go for a larger screen.
