copying video for editing

Post by jim jarvis »

I have successfully captured my video but when I save it to a folder for working to edit it it will not allow me to open it. It plays great in media player.
How do you get the video into the story board to begin the edit?
I tried to save it to disc but the small amount I saved showed up as being to large to fit onto a disc. I did not compress it until I get the other problem corrected.

Either you have an "strange" format or a corrupt video file. Often, corrupt files will play OK but cause problems when you try to edit or transcode them.
