Does anyone know if DVP is able to burn movies with resolution higher than standard TV?
I have several images that are 1920 x 1200 resolution. I want to create a slide show that will run on the computer, not a TV.
I also don't want to run in WMP or any other player, I simply want a slide show that will run using the entire monitor, with no border.
Since DVP is creating DVD images, I realize the answer to the second part is probably: no. Does anyone know of another program able to create a standalone slide show with fade transitions that uses the entire monitor?

Can DVP burn high-res images?

Why don't you simply create a slide show with your image editing program? If you author it to DVD (that's what CD & DVD PS is designed to do) it will compress everything down to DVD compliant mpeg2 files.
PhotoExplorer, free with PhotoImpact, can do it. You can also buy it as a stand alone version from ULEAD.
