HEEEEELP! NO sound with AVI in creating video file
I have tried for about six months to burn dvd's but always without success. I always crash after about 2 minutes rendering. My system is high spec with loads of disk space - so no problem with hardware. I'm using VS9. I found the easiest and faultless way is to 'save as a video file choosing AVI then use another programme to burn. But! for some reason I can save the video, but there is no sound? The sound is perfect in the project. I have tried so many options. I have just returned from holiday and have compiled a great vid on the computer but cannot burn it to be viewable on TV. I love the ease of video construction of VS9 but I cannot take much more of the burning problems.
Nothings Easy!

Hi
More info is needed like.
How are you capturing the video footage.?
How are you connecting the camera.?
What are the properties of the video file?
After editing are you Creating a video file to Pal-DVD prior to burning.?
If you are using a Digital Camera then you should capture using Firewire to DV.
This process transfers the footage without re-coding, what you have is what you get.
13Gb per hour
Then Edit
Then Create a Video File ------Share Create Video File to Pal-dvd
Using this file to burn to disc. Share Create Disc--Add video
So what processes are you using?
Read the recommended procedure from the top post.
