I'm trying to open a mpg file and keep getting a file format error 16803:1:2

Does anybody know what causes this error - does the movie have to be cropped before it is loaded into GA5 ?

I'm not really sure - my only guess is a codec problem. I could be way out on that... Hopefully someone who knows more about video stuff will wander by to answer that one.

I've managed to open an AVI video file but when I convert the AVI file to an mpeg1 I still get a message saying it cannot open the file.

Will have to stick with AVI format if I want to use the animator and video files.
