How to make submenus in MF3
I'm used to making DVDs with a single button on the top menu that leads to chapters on the next menu page. What I now need to do is make menus where the top menu would have two buttons: one to play the whole video, and the other to lead to another page(s) of chapter buttons. I don't see from the Help index how to do that. I need some help. Thanks.
Chapter Menu
in the MENU step, under the Preview window is "Advanced Settings" -- click on that and select "Create Chapter Menu"

making submenus
Thank you, George. I am familiar with selecting Add/Edit chapters and creating chapters from a single program/clip (the "create chapter menu" line is grayed out under Advanced Settings unless you select the Add Chapters icon first). When I do that, the top menu is always one button. When you click on it, it takes you to other menu pages that contain the chapters. What I want to do now is slightly different. I want my top menu to contain two buttons: one that would go right to the video and play it, bypassing the chapters. The second button would act as a "scene selection" button, and would take you to the other menu pages where you can select your chapters. It seems the only way to do this is to load the same clip twice into MF3. That way the top menu displays two buttons: one for direct play, and the other to let you add chapters to the other clip. But this doubles the size of the file on my DVD. Is there any way to do what I'm describing without having to add the same clip twice to my DVD? Can you do this in DVD Express? Thanks again.

You do know that the ARROW on the menu page will play the whole
video directly.
Otherwise DVD Workshop/Express could be used.
You can also set the main menu page up to show all the chapters
which then selecting the main 1st chapter will play the whole video.
That's the old way ulead use to create a dvd menu.
