tansition effect applying to images after inserted?

Post by brucefl »

Is there a way to insert an effect into several slides after they have been added to the timeline?

Bruce,
Yes, there is; just go to "clip" view, (I think it is) and drop a transition between the clips..

all at once?

Hi,

I should of been a little clearer, now that I read it.
Is it possible to insert the same effect into several
clips all at once, one you insert the images?

Bruce,
Yes, when you "double click" a transition it will fill the next available slot between clips...

So highlight the spot to start at and keep a clickin'

No

but as Bob said by doubling clicking a transition it will insert in the first available space.

If you have inserted a lot of images/video to the timeline without transitions, the easiest is to copy them to the library.

change File Preferences to Use default transitions

Delete the offending clips and drag them back from the library.

Otherwise get it right first time.
