remote control / main menu problem

Hi:

While playing my video in DVD workshop 2 and when I hit the root menu button it stops playing and goes back to the main menu so I can then select another chapter to play. But when I play it on my DVD player and hit disk menu while the DVD is playing (that was made in Workshop 2) it does not stop playing and go to the main menu where you can then select another chapter. You have to wait till it is done playing and it then goes to the main menu. This works fine (main menu) on all other DVD's that I buy but will not work on any that I make with workshop 2. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

All my chapters work fine it just that while the DVD is playing you can not get it to go back to the main menu until it done playing the entire DVD.
