I have a video that is 65 miniutes long and when i go to burn it says not enough room on disk.
then i go to 90 min setting and it seems like a waste to use 90 for such a small amount.
vid studio has a fit and burn setting does workshop??
sorry if this has been asked but i could not find answers when i looked .
thanks
shayne
can I put 65 min on best setting????
You can create your on custom 'template' with a slightly lower bitrate. I'm not going to try and give you detailed instructions, because Workshop is not installed on the computer I'm on right now (at work!).
Here' a Bitrate Calculator that can help you choose the best bitrate.

If you cannot fit 65 minutes onto best settings, it is probably because the audio is uncompressed. I suggest you simply change the audio setting to AC-3 (Dolby Digital) 2.0 (stereo) at 192 kbit/s. You won't percieve any change in audio quality, but you will gain ~16% of space, allowing you to squeeze in more video.
