I was wondering if anyone has played around with this PIP scenario. It works so nicely with the additional overlay tracks. I have a background image on the video track. On overlay track 1, I have a still image rotating or moving in to one corner of the screen and on overlay track 2, I have another image rotating in...so they both can share the screen as if it were a split screen. I noticed that the images could fade out. Has anyone figured out how to bring one of the images forward and back, and then the next as if to zoom in on one and then the other. I know this is possible with multi window effects that I have in Pinnacle - just wondering if we could get it too work similary in VS10+ using the overlay tracks.
thanks.

I've played around with this. For a really smooth effect, it needs Moving Paths, which isn't possible in VS10+. So to cheat, you need to apply the Crop filter, and fiddle around with the customize settings to get a resemblance of the photo growing from the PIP to a full screen.

pip
thanks - I tried playing around with a bunch of different effects - cropping filter, cross fades, box growing etc. I also used an effect that comes with the Canopus Video fx package that simulates frames moving in and out - and it was tricky to get it smooth. The tutorials looked helpful.
Moving path would be a great addition to VS for the next release!
Do you know if this is a feature in Media Studio - I've been contemplating moving over to Media Studio.
thanks.
