Green Screen / Blue Screen - Chroma

Post by GuyL »

I'm looking to purchase a chroma screen. Has anyone experience with this and what color is best. Also, are there any good sources for one (Canada perferably) and can you "build" one yourself of any quality?
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

GuyL,
Another alternative to purchasing a chroma cloth in the field is to buy a sheet of linoleum from your local hardware store. Cheap and has enough structural integrity to stand on its own by folding the sides or lay flat against a wall or objects. Then get a mixed copy of chroma paint and paint away. Roll it up and take it with you. When paint layer becomes damaged, apply another coat and so on.

As for which color, depends on your project.

You can also order custom green/blue screens from various video supply companies.
