Intruders in my image library in VS 9

Post by Ken Veal »

The Image library in one of my Library Manager projects has filled up with the following images:-
~SSJPG_...
When I try to delete one or all of them the relink box shows "original
file D:\video projects\uvs 05122_223409~0_~SSJPG_25.jpg doesnt
exist

When I select relink and open the same project “Unable to access File” (1702:4:2)
shows.
When I open all the other projects “File format mismatch” (1081:1:1:3) shows.

Where did all these image files come from and how do I get rid of them, please help

When I right-click on any image thumbnail in my image library, I get a pop-up menu that allows me to select "properties."

When I select "properties," I then can see the location AND the type of image file that appears.

That information tells me what I need to know about the images.

Have you tried that?

Unwanted images in library

Hi Jerry,
thanks for the reply.Did try right clicking before but I was
side stepped to an answer because the relink box displayed.Since your reply I had another look to see the delete option in the relink box, I clicked on that instead of closing the box as before when another box displayed with properties greyed out.So when I clicked on the delete option in the relink box another box came up with another delete
option which did the business, so I could select the first and last image and get rid of them all.The images were not recognisable and still dont know how they got there but thanks for your inspiration
regards Ken
