57 of 106 Captured scenes corrupt.

Just trying out the trial version of VS 10. So far it looks good. I normally use MSP V7 but need something quick for small projects.

Ran into an interesting problem using the VS 10 Capture:

Capturing via firewire from my Sony camera using Type 1 DV, scene split.

Total files captured 106, out of which 57 are corrupted.

Then I captured the same tape using Scenalyzer. Total captured scenes 106. Non corrupted.

The interesting thing is that the 57 corrupted scenes from the VS 10 Capture are the same file size as the Scenalyzer files. And all the corrupted files are in one block of files. In other words, the corrupted files all follow each other. They occur at the end of the file list. All the files before the corrupted files are fine. And one last file after the corrupted files is fine.

Just curious if anyone out there ran into this kind of problem where you get a large block of captured scenes that are corrupt?
