Every time I try to select the Adaptec VideoOh USB 2310 capture device (or change an option if it is already selected) VS8 crashes. I have installed all of the updates and am running version 8.01. Has anyone else had these problems? Or has anyone successfully captured to an Adaptec device?
The Sonic MyDVD software that came with the Adaptec unit works just fine but I would rather use VS8 since that is why I bought it and am familiar with it.

I, too, have the same problem with my Plextor ConvertX M402U USB capture device. I do know that the problem is that the software does not have specific device drivers for our devices. At the moment, its up to Ulead to support other analog devices so that they could target more users to switch to their software. But, it looks as if they are not interested in this. 
Right now, I have to use InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2. Its bulky and clumsy. But I don't need to have two video editing programs residing on my computer (one to capture and one to edit and output). That would be very silly. I'd prefer to use Ulead products but at the moment, that's not an option.
