Anyone use VS9 and have a Radeon 9800 Card?

Hello all, a friend of mine has an XP box with a Radeon All-in-Wonder 9800 card.

Now, when VS9 is up and running and he is going through some editing, it will crash randomly on him. After checking the Event Log, the computer is registering a problem with the video card driver.

Now, our temporary fix was to uninstall the ATI driver, and use the generic windows driver. Now, this fixed the crashing issue but unfortunately the resolution, refresh rate, and other settings with the standard drivers don't cut the mustard.

So, if anyone out there has a 9800 and uses VS9, if you can let me know which version of the driver set you are using I would greatly appreciate it. We have previously tried installing drivers direct from ATI and we had nothing but problems...

I have a Radeon 9800 and had to upgrade the driver when I first started using Video Studio (3 years ago) My current version is ATI 6.14.10.6396.

BTW, I am pretty sure that I had to download the driver from Dell (I have a Dell 8300), rather than ATI.

I had the same problem. Upgrading the drivers solved it.
