can i have 16:9 and 4:3 menu options on DVD menu ?

is it possible to configure the menu to give the viewer the choice of formats ?? i was thinking of making two versions of the video file - one in widescreen and one in normal 4:3 to suit members of the family who have different format TVs. is there a clever way of accessing the relevant format from the menu on the DVD ??

As with commercial DVD's the best option is burning two compilations; either on two discs or one double-sided 9.4g disc.

Double-sided blanks are available, but you have to look for 'em. Unlike dual-layer discs these let you burn each side with a different compilation.

They are available as either "DVD-10" 9.6g (4.7g per side) or as "DVD-18" 17g (8.4g per side), which is a double sided DVD+R DL format that is hard to find and very expensive.

You cannot do this with VS.

The best product to do this with is DVDLab, but afaik you might need the PRO version.
