text objects in photoimpact 6

Hi.
Dunno if anyone has had this problem but when adding text objects to images, PI has started to make the text a percievably lower resolution.
Had this problem before some time ago and can't remember how fixed - any suggestions?

Could it be that you are applying text to a .gif that is in 256 colors? If so, change the format to RGB True color.

Thanks for replying to query - sorted problem in end.
I had that pesky anti-aliasing turned off in the Text Entry Box.
