Importing DVD archives to MediaStudio 7

I used MediaStudio Pro 7 to edit clips to be stored on DVD for archival. I used Movie Studio II LE to burn the footage to DVD. The problem I am experiencing is that when I import(Movie Factory) or rip it with another program and try and bring this file into Media Studio I get the "Format" problem. Help!

No I haven't tried your tutorial. I had to leave town suddenly last week and just returned and will give it a try tomorrow. Thanks for responding to my question. I panic when something doesn't work like I think it is "supposed" to.
