I am in the process of downloading the 5 files for the DMF5+ upgrade. I do not see any instructions. I assume I run part 1 on the PC without removing DMF5?
Then what do I do with the 4 .rar files?
I did a search on "movie factory download rar" match all words and got no hits.

DMF5+ downloaded; how to install? - Solved
I took a wild flyer and just clicked on the part1.exe. It then proceeded to unpack the .rar files. When it got ready to install, it complained about DMF5 already being installed and I had to exit and remove DMF5. I then restarted the autorun.exe file in the unpacked files dir and it installed without apparent problems.
When it reloaded it did not find three customized text menu templates I had developed in DMF5 (the Favorites list of templates is empty). I suspect that I will have move them to the proper DMF5+ folder. It seems odd that if this is a replacement that it does not pick up any customizations that had already been installed with DMF5.
Another couple of surprises: 1) I believe DMF5 had an option under the capture video page to record something at a specific time, and 2) when I first ran the capture it did not find my S-video and Composite sources until it had scanned for channels, even though I have no cable or antenna.
One thing I have not liked about DMF5 that is not changed in DMF5+ is that I can no longer customize the compression settings from the Capture Advanced menu.
