Dual Monitors

Post by cgman »

Hey folks, I just got dvdworkshop2... it's great! There's one thing I didn't anticipate, that's the main window will not resize. I have a dual monitor set up and would like to utilize both monitors. One monitor for preview window and the main toolset for the other monitor.

My question is: Is there a way to resize the program window to fill both monitors or detach/move the interface elements like other software allows you to do?

Thanks,

Cgman

The short answer is No. However, with an overlay driver (depends on the graphics card), you may be able to duplicate the image pixel-for-pixel. If the second monitor is set for a smaller resolution, the size of the image may be made larger, but you won't gain anything other than size: it'll look poor, as you have no more data than in the smaller ½ size image on your main screen, so it's not worth pursuing IMHO.
