Hello please can somebody help me?
I want to know how to replace in a finished animation (in animator of course) an object which had to be changed in Photoshop. Is it possible to replace an object without changing the settings of the animation?
Thank you in advance!!!!!

** Note: Always save any animation you make in UGA format for editing later...
Yes you can, depending on how you do it.
GIF Animator will let you use Photoshop (or PhotoImpact, Paint Shop Pro...) as an external image editor. Once you've opened the animation with GA 5, use the Favorite Image Editor button.

Favorite Image Editor will let you edit your individual objects in any program (which must be already installed on your computer!) that supports .psd (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PhotoDeluxe or JASC Paint Shop Pro) or .ufo (Ulead PhotoImpact) formats. The icon shown here depends on which image editor you used last. If you haven't configured this yet, it will be blank. To add image editors, click on the down-arrow beside the icon and select Organize Favorite Image Editor. You can add, delete or edit your image editors here by typing in the name of the program and then browsing to find it's .exe file.
When you open the external image editor, you will notice that not all objects will be visible in the composite image. Whatever objects are visible in the frame that's selected in GIF Animator 5 are the ones that are visible here. You can change the visibility in the external editor if you like.
Once you are done editing, just save the image within the image editor and GIF Animator will pop up again.
If you didn't go this route, or don't have a program to use as an external editor, you can use Add Image
to add the object itself. However, you will have to manually position it in each frame, replacing the original object. A bit more work, this is.

Here's a "quick and dirty" way to do it I just though of - I tried it out and it does work...
Use the Favorite Image Editor button as described above. Once in Photoshop, use Photoshop to open the new object you want to insert.
Copy and paste that into the image Photoshop is editing for GA 5. Be sure to position it where you want it to go. Then delete (or rename) the object you want to change/replace. Then rename the new object, using the exact same name of the object/layer you just deleted. Remember to also put it in the same layer/object order.
Then "save" in Photoshop.

I've finally gotten around to writing a tutorial showing how this can be done:
