Hello, i have to capture a videotape from a vcr with composite input,
which are the best setting for videostudio 10?

The answer depends on so many things. PAL or NTSC? How powerful is your system? Can you capture AVI files with your capture device or just MPEG2? Will the end rsult of your project be for playback on a TV, or for sharing on the web?

How are you capturing? Are you capturing through a passthrough on a DV camera or using an analog capture card?

Do you intend on editing the video or just transferring the captured footage to a disk?
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

Hello, i capture in Pal mode, mpeg 2 files,i have a athlon 2600 with tv station knc1 capture card and capture by composite input...are cartoon tape and i'd like transfer it on a disc to see on tv.

720 x 576 resolution with a 6000 (Maybe even 4000) bitrate and audio at 256K MPEG2. That would be my recommendation.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
