VSP

Post by Bessie Fernandes »

I am having trouble with my file. When I capture and name a file it provides me with a .vsp extension which is only suitable for the Ulead folder and so denies me the use of it on my files. How do I get rid of this please. My file name is rory and details are:
PAL (25 fps)
MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-PAL), 4:3

I am using Ulead VideoStudio 10 plus and have recently purchased this software. I did use the trial version and was then having this same problem and so disconnected and started again. Please help. fatuma :?

Hi Fatima

First of all the VSP is not your captured file.

A VSP is a Video Studio Project, this allows you to edit your work, compiling your movie.

Cutting out the unwanted pieces, adding text, audio, image etc is all part of editing.

The work being saved as a VSP. The original captured file is not changed.

When you have completed the editing you make a new video file from Share Create Video File.
You now have two, the original and a new edited version.

When you capture your video your captured files are saved to the Working Folder aka Capture Folder.

You can change/find its location from the Capture screen or File-Preferences

Hope this Helps
