returning to DVD menu after each clip has finished

fairly new to video studio (using version 9) and using the inbuilt DVD menu creator (ie via the "share" tab ) .can create menu OK and everything is fine except i cont work out how to get the menu configured so that when the dvd finishes playing the first menu item the disc returns to the menu - at present it keeps on going and auto plays the second clip. i am sure this is something really simple but i cant work it out - help appreciated !!! thanks. jonathan.

Hi Jonathan

From the burner module hit the options cogwheel, lower left

Set the Navigation Controls

These work for the Main Menu not the chapter points

Burn a TS folder to your hard drive to test the movie.
I use Power DVD to play.

thanks - see its simple when you know how...it was driving me nuts last night as i couldnt find that option !!!!

i use a portable DVD player to preview - i can play the DVD in real player but there is not sound ?? i dont understand why. i tried power DVD and got the same repsonse - i am bored with trying to figure it out so i use the poirtable DVD player on my desk as it only takes a few seconds !!!

Hi

What is the audio properties of the video file.

It may be Digital Dolby and AC3. Should not be a problem with VS 9/10
Update your real player to the latest version
Also update Windows media Player.

trevor - spec filled in as far as i know. cant remember what motherboard i have as i didnt build the PC. have you seen my other question ?? can you help ???
