Capture from video has started to appear jerky video studio
We have VS10 and have had no problem with capturing video from the video player in the past. The problem now is that the captured video now appears jerky, almost like it catches. The video plays perfectly through the machine and the program it is only happening in the capture. Does anyone have any ideas please??

Hi Lessa,
While capturing are you having dropped frames? This could be that your system is trying to do something in the background, which is taking the resources away from your capture.
Also how are you capturing, firewire, or another device? If you are capturing via Firewire, to DV(AVI), are you capturing type 1 or type 2? It could be that your settings have been changed to Type-2, and that your system is not capable of keeping up..
