Hi.
I am using VS10+ on winxp. Is there a way to get my looping wav file to not start again when the video loop starts again in the motion menu that I am trying to create? As it is now, it (the wav loop) starts again every time the video loop starts again. They are of different lengths but both under 10 seconds.
Detach looping music from looping video background in menu?

Hello satasha,
In the DVD authoring menu creation page, go to the edit tab. As you probably know, the menu motion duration can be set anywhere from 1 second to 30 seconds. This duration only effects the video motion and then repeats itself. The audio duration can be set by clicking on the "Set audio properties" icon button next to "Background music:". Click on that button to open up that dialog box. There you will see the duration of the currently selected audio clip, along with trim buttons to adjust the clips duration. The only limit of the audio clip duration is with the clip itself. You can trim any portion of an audio clip. You can even fade-in and fade-out the audio clip.
Hope this helps.

I don't think this is possible in VS10. If it is, I would love to learn how!BettyF wrote:Make 2 versions of the menu, one with and one without music. When the first one times out have it activate a hidden button to go to the second one. Then the second one can loop forever with no music.
