I have ULead Studio 8, Please would someone advise regarding the following error message (15200 43 3 & 15023 4 2) which says " Failed to initialize the video capture plug in. Another program may be using it or the file has been removed. Failed to open dtiver." I have Pinnacle and Windows Movie Maker installed.
Tried everything I know including installing V8 patch but don't understand what to do. Any simple help suggestions will be gratefully received.

How are you trying to capture, with Firewire, or another device? Ulead uses the DirectShow Capture plug-in. Have you tried to change the Capture Plug-In ( Tools menu>Change Capture Plug-In), or the Device Control?
Without much more information it is difficult to provide accurate advise.
We need to know what equipment is being used, how it is connected to your PC, If you have been able to capture successfully, and this just started happening. Are you able to capture with any other program, such as the ones you mentioned?
