VS7 cannot vary sound level - is VS10 any better?
I need to vary the volume of a section of a sound track depending on the images/video in the timeline. I cannot do it in VS7 as all changes seem to affect the whole sound track. Can this be done in later versions such as VS10? If so I will upgrade. Thanks.
MF2, MF3, MF4, MF5, VS7, VS10+, VS12, Nero Vision Express. Ricoh and Sony 16x DVD recorder, Sony HC5 High def camera. Also Canopus ADVC110 for AV/DV input through firewire

Hi Ruggy,
I think Rubber Band audio editing was first introduced with VS8. It allows you to vary the volume of video and audio tracks, by placing keyframes on the audio timeline. This is carried through to the current VS10 and VS10 +.
You could download the trial version to see what you think.
