audio messed up on time axis

Post by houskat »

I have a problem...when Im editing with an mp3 as a background, the music does not exactly fit the time line as it should. Everytime I play it, the music is moved cca 2seconds wither to the front or to the back. Its really hard to make clips fit te music when everytime you preview your work, the music is moved a little....is anybody able to help me? is there a fix for this? i have this problem with any mp3, so its not b/c of the song, but maybw be/c of the song format... (mp3)...but thats a pure guess....

MP3 is always hairy. Sometimes it may work OK, sometimes it won't work at all, sometime you have synch problems.

If you had done a search for MP3 on this board, you would have found you were the nth person to ask this question - and found the answer.

Convert your mp3 to wav before taking it on the timeline. Let's hope this is the last time I have to answer this question.
