Missing u32Prod.dll

Post by Cocobid »

Could someone help me??

I was trying to uninstall this program and I am having a glitch!
Currently unable to uninstall or access the program.
An error message states that it is missing this file."u32Prod.dll "
Also it has rendered my access to all of my photographs. The control panel to uninstall will not allow this either. The reason I wanted to uninstall this was to use the window viewer in instead of Ulead.
I hope that I have provided enough info.
V.8.0 Photo Express that came with my Microtek scanner.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Karen/Cocobid

Just wanted to note that I took the easy way out and used System Restore and everything is Perfect. One question I have though is how do I disable Ulead from being the primary source for Pic viewing. I really want XP"s to do this. I actually like it better!

1. Right click on any graphic file you want to open with another program.
2. left click properties.
3. left click on change button.
4. choose program you want use. You may have to browse for it.

He's talking about Grahic Files, like JPEG, BMP, PNG, not Graphic Program Files, which are self-executing files ending with EXE.

Step 1. Open Windows Explorer and locate a file e.g. Test.jpg
Step 2. Right click - Select [Open with]
Step 3. Find the program you want and ensure that the small box
[Always use the selected program to open this kind of file] is ticked.
